HTC Sensation XL or Samsung Galaxy Nexus – Which one should you choose? This question is a bit difficult to answer, as they both seem to have their own set of features that can make you stand on your toes. Let us start with the basic look of these two new smart phones out there in the market. They both look fabulous. With HTC Sensation XL having a 4.7-inch display and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus with a 4.65-inch display, they are sure to give you a hard time guessing on which one to buy.
Let us try comparing them more closely. HTC sensation XL comes with a 16 GB storage capacity, while Samsung Galaxy Nexus is available with a 16 GB as well as a 32 GB storage memory. With 768 MB RAM, the HTC sensation XL seems to get a slight knock from its Samsung counterpart that contains a 1GB RAM. The HTC sensation XL is powered by the new Android v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), while Samsung Galaxy Nexus has Android v2.3 (Gingerbread). The only thing that greatly differentiates the two is the processor. Samsung Galaxy Nexus has a Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9, whereas its HTC counterpart has a powerful 1.5GHz Scorpion processor. However, both these phones seem to be perfect for those who usually work on more than one application at the same time.
In terms of camera, Samsung Galaxy Nexus seems to have a downside, as it comes with a 5 MP camera, while HTC sensation XL has a powerful 8 MP camera. However, both have a 1.3 MP secondary camera. Therefore, you can blindly pick any one of the two, if you find yourself too busy attending video calls the whole day. If you happen to ask me which one is the best, I surely would hesitate a bit while answering the question, as I have tried them both and they seem to be best in their own way.
